Job Summary
Deliver therapy services planned and supervised by a qualified Occupational Therapist to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence from the comfort of their homes. Design and adapt equipment or living environments, fabricate assistive devices, and instruct patients and families on home programs and adaptive equipment use. Provide therapeutic treatment and instruction to improve function, coordinate care planning, and participate in discharge planning activities with the interdisciplinary team. Document observations in patient records, prepare progress reports, and submit required documentation in accordance with company and facility standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OTA licensure
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Screened for TB
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months occupational therapist assistant experience
- Home Health experience
