Job Summary
Assess and record patient conditions by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, changing bandages, and managing oxygen supplies. Teach family members assisted living techniques for mobility, eating, and personal hygiene, while guiding patients in proper lifting and re-positioning. Make independent decisions regarding work methods in ambiguous situations while following established guidelines. This patient-facing role is part of Humana's Tuberculosis screening program and requires a valid Florida RN license, CPR certification, and a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida
- CPR certification
- OSHA Certificate
- HIV/AIDS Certificate
- HIPAA Certificate
- Alzheimer's Certificate
- Medical Errors Certificate
- Domestic Violence Certificate
- Valid in-state driver's license
- Current registration and insurance for personal vehicle
- Driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
- Proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits
- Ability to be screened for TB
