Job Summary
Home Health Medical Biller responsible for claim submission to Medicare, managed care, and commercial payers; review billing records for completeness and accuracy; interpret EOBs/remittance advice; resolve rejected claims and submit appeals; maintain accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid claims; work within the EMR (Axxess) to ensure documentation supports billing requirements; collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to obtain missing documentation; participate in quality assurance activities to support billing compliance and reimbursement; schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shift with rotational weekend coverage; location in Roseville, CA.
