Job Summary
The Home Health Manager is responsible for maintaining standards of resident care and case management for all Home Health Residents in Independent Living units. Key responsibilities include coordinating case management, keeping physicians and families informed of residents' health changes, ensuring proper documentation of medication and care, coordinating lab work and doctor appointments, providing supervision and training to Home Health associates, and managing month-end reconciliation of charges and billing. The role also involves on-call duties every other weekend and assisting in direct resident care as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months experience in a geriatric setting
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of billing of supplies and services
- Knowledge of invoice data entry
- Computer skills
