Job Summary
Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes under the supervision of an RN or physician. Monitor patient health status, administer medications and treatments, and perform wound care and catheter care. Educate patients and families on disease management while documenting visits and maintaining accurate medical records. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care. Requires a current state license, CPR/BLS certification, and a valid driver's license. Pay range is $32 to $47 per hour for part-time shifts in Ojai, California.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program (LVN/LPN)
- Minimum 1 year of experience, preferably in home care or med/surg
- Current state license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable, insured vehicle
