Job Summary
Administer medications, treatments, and medical care as prescribed by a physician while monitoring patient health status and documenting condition changes. Use clinical judgment to provide effective care, collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, and educate patients and families on proper care techniques and disease management. Maintain accurate and complete medical records while providing emotional support and adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards of nursing practice. Requires current Florida LPN license, one year of home health experience, valid driver's license, CPR certification, and Level 2 criminal background check.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN license in the state of Florida
- At least 1 year of experience in home health care or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong clinical skills and sound judgment
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Valid FL driver's license and reliable transportation (Auto Insurance must also be presented)
- CPR certification required (Original Card)
- Level 2 Criminal Background Check
