Job Summary
Submit and manage claims for Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and commercial payers while verifying eligibility and reviewing documentation to ensure billing accuracy and compliance. Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on unpaid claims, and resolve denials or rejections, including processing hospice and home health billing requirements such as NOE/NOTR and OASIS-linked claims. Post payments, reconcile remittances, and identify discrepancies while maintaining HIPAA and CMS regulations. Collaborate with clinical, intake, and coding teams to address billing issues and ensure complete, audit-ready documentation. Maintain high accuracy and low denial rates to meet claim submission and follow-up timelines.

- Meet claim submission and follow-up timelines
- Keep accounts receivable within agency targets
- Ensure complete, audit-ready documentation
- Medical billing and coding certification may substitute for education, along with professional experience as a biller or coder
- Work experience in a related health care setting preferred
- Billing or Coding Certification (Preferred)
