Job Summary
Lead and direct daily operations of the home health agency, coordinating clinical departments and ensuring continuity, quality, and safety of services in compliance with State and Federal regulations. Develop and implement clinical changes based on current Home Health Conditions of Participation, while performing OASIS assessments and regular home visits as needed. Direct nursing and HHA staff, monitor the QAPI program, and establish work schedules based on workload and resource availability. Assume leadership of the case management team, recruit staff in collaboration with Human Resources, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual agency reports. Promote infection control concepts and educate personnel on universal precautions during patient care activities.
Required Qualifications
- BSN with two years registered nursing experience or ADN with 4 years of registered nursing experience
- Knowledge of Home Health State and Federal guidelines
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid Home Health Conditions of Participation
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid Home Health ICD-10 coding, billing and development of 485
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum one year Home Health experience
