Job Summary
Provide safe and effective care to the sick and elderly in the Northeast Houston area, including Spring, Humble, and Kingwood. Take accurate temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure readings while performing simple procedures as directed. Coordinate care with the RN and report changes in the patient's condition. Follow Universal Precautions, maintain clean work environments, and complete all work assignments with timely documentation using Kinnser/WellSky software. Maintain acceptable attendance and current CPR certification. This PRN role requires a sympathetic attitude, English proficiency, and adherence to Agency policies and in-service programs.
Required Qualifications
- Have a sympathetic attitude towards the care of the sick.
- Be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Be able to carry out directions.
- Show a high level of maturity and be able to deal effective with demands of the job.
- Not be listed in the Nurse Aide Registry for misconduct.
- Not convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor as evidence by a criminal history check.
