Job Summary
Coordinate home health services, planning, and evaluation under direct supervision of the Administrator. Direct and supervise professional and auxiliary personnel rendering client care, making patient and personnel assignments, and ensuring individualized plans of care are developed and updated. Formulate business plans, resource allocation strategies, and yearly budgets while establishing job functions, qualifications, and descriptions for all service staff. Develop policies, guidelines, and procedures; maintain policy manuals; and oversee CQI and utilization review activities. Assess staffing needs, consult with physicians and healthcare facilities, and collaborate with senior management and advisory committees. Ensure safe, effective client services by evaluating programs, services, and field personnel against regulatory licensure and accreditation standards.
Required Qualifications
- A licensed physician, Registered Nurse, physical therapist, speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, audiologist, or a social worker
- Possesses the education, and experience, in the scope of services offered
- Must have at least two years of homecare experience
- Must have at least one year of supervisory experience
- Must have a criminal history background check
- Must have a current CPR certification
- Must be able to read 12 point and larger type
- The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, in English
