Job Summary
Direct and supervise professional and auxiliary personnel rendering client care services, making patient and personnel assignments while ensuring patient needs are continually assessed. Coordinate patient care, referrals, and orientation programs; develop policies, guidelines, and job descriptions; and oversee implementation of service goals and quality improvement activities. Evaluate program services, field personnel, and community needs to formulate strategic plans and budgets. Maintain policy manuals, update procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory licensure and accreditation standards. Communicate with physicians, healthcare facilities, and community groups to foster public relations and address staffing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- A licensed physician, Registered Nurse, physical therapist, speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, audiologist, or a social worker
- Possesses the education, and experience, in the scope of services offered
- Must have at least two years of homecare experience
- at least, one year of supervisory experience
- Must have a criminal history background check
- Must have a current CPR certification
- Must be able to read 12 point and larger type
- The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, in English
