Job Summary
Conduct didactic orientation teaching and provide on-site clinical competence support to all home care staff. Develop individualized evidence-based education plans for new clinicians and mentor preceptors in planning patient care activities. Evaluate newly hired clinician performance through competency testing, joint visits, and case conferences to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Contribute to the content and implementation of annual clinical competencies while maintaining expertise in a specific clinical area. Assist in managing web-based teaching resources and integrate best practice knowledge into daily practice at VNA Care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in clinical field (RN, OT, PT, SLP)
- Licensed in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
- 3 of which are recent home care
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Home Health field
- Teaching experience
- Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and E-Learning modalities
