Job Summary
Conduct non-skilled, non-medical home care for clients in Clayton and surrounding areas, including assisting with prescribed medication, ambulation, personal hygiene, and light housekeeping duties like meal preparation. Accompany clients on doctor's appointments, walks, and shopping trips while helping them complete physical therapy exercises. Collect condition and treatment plan information from medical staff and family, reporting any unusual incidents or emergencies to nurses, doctors, and relatives immediately. Maintain a flexible schedule with on-call availability, ensuring all interactions adhere to health and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Previous caregiver experience- 1 year or longer that can be verified
- an active STNA license
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
- Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Physical endurance to complete required tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
