Home Health Biller

Home Health Biller based in Fort Worth, TX with the potential to be hybrid/remote two days a week. Responsible for accurate and timely billing of home health services, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and payer regulations across the home health divisions. Key duties include preparing, reviewing, and submitting claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers; ensuring billing accuracy and PDGM compliance; verifying patient eligibility and authorization requirements; following up on outstanding claims and denials; resolving billing discrepancies; posting payments and denials in the billing system; communicating with payers regarding claim status, audits, and appeals; collaborating with clinical and intake teams for documentation; maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding and reimbursement changes; and assisting with audits and compliance reviews. Qualifications include 2+ years of medical billing experience (preferably in home health), knowledge of Medicare PDGM, ICD-10, EMR systems (e.g., Homecare Homebase), and strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred qualifications include CPB or similar certification and EVV familiarity.
