Job Summary
Home Health Aide position with The Lakes Home Care Services in Hollywood, FL to provide in-home personal care per established care plans. Responsibilities include assisting with baths, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding; taking and recording temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure as ordered; safe transfer and ambulation; ROM and simple extensional therapies as ordered; assisting with laundry; ensuring home safety and proper use of equipment; observing and documenting patient condition; and communicating clearly with clients, families, and the supervising nurse. Requires following the plan of care, complying with training and competency programs, and meeting applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Meets all training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws when applicable
- Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care given
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification in accordance with state regulation
- PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Successful completion of Maxim screening examinations
- Participation and completion of Maxim’s competency program
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher education preferred
- CPR certification
- Experience as Home Health Aide or in-home care
- Maxim competency program
- Flexibility to create own schedule
- Ability to read, write, and document care
- Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols
- State and federal training compliance
