Job Summary
Conduct daily living assistance for clients including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide medication reminders, document care activities, and support mobility with physical exercises. Offer companionship through meaningful conversations, assist with dementia care for individuals with cognitive impairments, and maintain a clean, safe environment via light housekeeping. Communicate client needs and progress updates to healthcare providers and family members. Requires six months of home care experience, valid driver's license, and ability to pass background check. Schedule includes 12-hour or 4-hour shifts in day, evening, or overnight rotations.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
- Ability to pass a background check
- A heart for compassionate, high-quality in-home care
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
- A valid driver's license
