Job Summary
Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and mobility support. Provide medication reminders and documentation while maintaining a clean, safe environment through light housekeeping. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations, with specialized support for dementia care. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members regarding client needs and progress. Maintain a compassionate nature to build strong rapport. Requires 6 months of home care experience, valid driver's license, and ability to pass a background check. Flexible scheduling available in 12-hour or 4-hour shifts across day, evening, and overnight rotations.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
- Ability to pass a background check
- A heart for compassionate, high-quality in-home care
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
- A valid driver's license
