Job Summary
Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide medication reminders, support mobility and physical exercises, and maintain a clean, safe environment through light housekeeping. Offer companionship, engage clients in meaningful activities, and provide specialized support for dementia care. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members regarding client needs and progress. Maintain a compassionate nature to build rapport with clients. Work flexible shifts ranging from four to twelve hours during day, evening, or overnight periods.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
- Ability to pass a background check
- A heart for compassionate, high-quality in-home care
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
- A valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or training in dementia care
