Job Summary
Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to basic needs like showering, bathing, dressing, and eating. Remind clients to take prescribed medication, assist with mobility around the house or for doctor's appointments, and plan and prepare meals. Complete client shopping or accompany them, perform housekeeping duties, and offer essential activities for daily living. Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency. Work Monday, Wednesday, or Friday shifts from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Home Health Aide
Desired Qualifications
- Dementia experience preferred
