Job Summary
The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) provides personal care, companionship, and homemaking services that support the client’s comfort and health at home under RN supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, mobility), providing companionship, light housekeeping, meal planning and grocery shopping, assisting with ambulation/transfers, and monitoring changes in client condition. Supports independence while maintaining client dignity; attends ongoing training/CEUs. Qualifications include Active NJ CHHA Certification, HS diploma/GED preferred, CPR certification preferred, reliable transportation, and ability to drive to client homes.
