Job Summary
Assist clients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene while providing companionship and emotional support. Monitor and record vital signs, report changes to the healthcare team, and assist with mobility and transfers using assistive devices. Build rapport with patients and families through empathy and strong communication skills. Manage your own flexible schedule with patients, prioritizing tasks and making independent decisions regarding care. Requires CPR, First Aid, or HHA/CNA certification, a clean driving record, and physical stamina to handle unexpected situations with composure.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A clean driving record and reliable transportation (for roles requiring travel)
- Relevant certifications, such as CPR, First Aid, or HHA/CNA certification (or a willingness to obtain them)
