Job Summary
Home Health Aide PRN provides hands-on personal care and simple procedures under RN supervision in patients' residences; assists with ambulation, and medication administration support (limited to getting water/fluids); participates in development and revision of the plan of care with patient, patient representative, and caregiver; contributes to QAPI program and ongoing interdisciplinary assessments; requires high school diploma or GED with at least 40 hours of approved training; must meet Medicare Conditions of Participation and State requirements for Home Health Aide training/competency; must have CPR certification, valid driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation; 100% travel may be required; works indoors in patient homes and travels between locations; expected physical effort including lifting up to 100 pounds and other mobility tasks; TB testing and state-required tests/examinations; exposure to elements and biomedical/clinical environments; per diem/PRN scheduling with potential for travel between Beaumont locations.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in applicable state
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Auto liability insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Must meet Medicare Conditions of Participation and State for Home Health Aide training program and competency requirements
