Job Summary
Home Health Aide provides personal care and support to patients in their homes or care settings, assisting with activities of daily living and personal care per care plans. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, laundry, emotional support to patients and families, reporting changes to the RN, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to HIPAA/OSHA and organizational policies. Requires active Florida CNA license, CPR/BLS, valid FL driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to work PRN days/evenings with in-home visits across designated Florida counties. 6 months in-home patient care and experience with frail/elderly individuals preferred. Familiarity with EMR systems and ability to document accurately, attend required trainings, and participate in safety and infection-control practices.
Required Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Florida
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid Florida driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- TB test and immunization records (or declinations) for Hepatitis B and flu
- Level II background screening and drug test
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
