Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and repositioning as needed. Support meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship while monitoring and reporting patient condition changes to the supervising nurse. Document care accurately and maintain a safe, clean home environment following individualized care plans and agency policies. Zoned in NE/NW Fort Wayne with early morning shifts. Requires valid Indiana HHA or CNA certification, reliable transportation, and physical examination within six months. Full-time employees receive health, dental, and vision insurance, ongoing paid training, and flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Indiana HHA or CNA certification
- Positive attitude and compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Reliable transportation and valid car insurance
- Physical examination within the last six (6) months
- Current TB skin test
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screen upon offer of employment
