Job Summary
Certified Home Health Aide provides personal care, companionship, and homemaking services under RN supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility support; providing companionship and emotional support; light housekeeping including laundry and cleaning; meal planning, preparation, and grocery shopping; assisting with ambulation, transfers, and prescribed exercises; supporting client independence while maintaining dignity; monitoring and reporting changes to the supervising nurse; attending ongoing training and continuing education (CEUs).
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey CHHA Certification (required)
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Must be dependable, compassionate, and have excellent communication skills
- Reliable transportation required
