Job Summary
Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) provides personal care, companionship, and homemaking services in clients' homes under RN supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, mobility), providing companionship, light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, safe environment), meal planning and grocery shopping, assisting with ambulation/transfers and prescribed exercises, supporting client independence with dignity, and monitoring/reporting changes to the supervising nurse. Includes attending ongoing training/CEUs and maintaining client safety. Requires active NJ CHHA certification; CPR certification preferred. Must have reliable transportation and strong communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey CHHA Certification (required)
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- CPR certification preferred
