Job Summary
Deliver direct and indirect patient care in accordance with regulations and agency policies. Perform activities of daily living, maintain accountability for actions taken, and communicate changes in patient status to supervising professionals. Participate in performance improvement activities and act as a patient advocate. Must complete 12 hours of educational credits annually and adhere to agency compliance with various regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of a Nurse Aide Program
- One-year experience as a nurse aide/assistant in a healthcare facility or as a home health aide in a home care/hospice agency
Desired Qualifications
- Nurse Aide Certification
- Certification as Hospice/Palliative Care Nurse Aide
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Experience in Healthcare setting
