Job Summary
Provide one-on-one home health care to patients in their homes following a care plan. Assist with daily activities, personal care, housekeeping, and transportation needs; change bed linens, assist with laundry, and support home maintenance. Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems and report observations to supervisor. Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert. Give medication reminders and engage patients in exercises or activities. Requires completion of an accredited Home Health Aide program, High School Diploma or GED, and one year of professional experience; driver's license is required. CPR certification is preferred; ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
