Hands-On ADL Support – Safely assist transfers, bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility; Home Environment & Infection Control – change linens, light laundry, sanitize; Medication & Symptom Monitoring – observe vitals and document changes; Therapeutic Engagement – read aloud, reminisce, guide range-of-motion exercises; Accurate Documentation – record care notes in digital charting system; License to Lead: HHA certificate underpins ongoing skill-building and nurse-mentored tracks.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide program (HHA certificate)
- Minimum 1 year of paid home-health or hospice experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach clients’ homes
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Clear, confident communication and a passion for relationship-centered care
