Job Summary
Deliver hands-on home health care: assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and transfers; promote mobility and ROM; provide medication cues and document compliance; support daily life with meals, light housekeeping, errands, and friendly companionship; ensure safety through infection-control and fall-prevention practices and accurate electronic notes. Requires high school diploma or GED and active HHA certification, valid CPR/First Aid, reliable transportation, ability to lift/transfer clients, and comfort with charting via mobile apps. Physical stamina and compassionate, professional interaction with clients and families are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED and active home health aide certification (state-specific)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain—employer-paid)
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift/transfer clients
