Job Summary
Follow care plans to provide safe and competent care, assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation, mobility, and routine housekeeping tasks. Monitor and report any changes in clients' conditions or home situations to the RN Case Manager and HHA Coordinator. Maintain a compassionate demeanor while utilizing basic computer skills for charting and ensuring safe use of client-based equipment. This role requires passing a criminal background check and providing evidence of health status. As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you design your own flexible schedule to fit your needs and those of your clients.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of state-mandated training hours, if applicable
- Basic knowledge of computer and internet-based applications for charting
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Compassionate and professional demeanor, with safe working knowledge of client-based equipment
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Provide evidence of health status that does not pose a risk to clients or other caregivers
