Job Summary
Abernathy Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide in-home support to clients across Stoneham, Woburn, Wakefield, Melrose and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care; supporting mobility and activities of daily living; providing companionship and emotional support; meal preparation and light housekeeping; monitoring client safety; following care plans and completing documentation; traveling between client homes. Requirements include active HHA/PCA certification, valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle, ability to travel between client homes, strong communication and interpersonal skills, dependable attendance, and current TB test or chest X-ray. Opportunities feature flexible schedules, short shifts (2–4 hours) with potential for full schedules, overtime, and local client assignments, with immediate interviews and quick hiring process.
