Job Summary
Provide personal care including baths, oral hygiene, and assisting with toileting and dressing. Change bed linens, perform skin care to prevent breakdown, and prepare nutritious meals while feeding patients. Take vital signs as ordered, assist with ambulation and exercise, and help patients self-administer medication. Keep living areas clean, do laundry, and meet safety needs using equipment properly. Report patient conditions and significant changes to the assigned nurse. Maintain a current CPR certification and hold active Home Health Aide Certification through CA Department of Public Health.
Required Qualifications
- Active Home Health Aide Certification through CA Department of Public Health
- Maintain a current CPR certification
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state or organization requirements and is in good working order
