Job Summary
Provide personal care, household support, and companion services to help adults stay safe and independent at home by following a written plan of care. Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care while preparing meals and performing light housekeeping. Support mobility through range of motion exercises, ambulation assistance, and transfers using mechanical lifting devices, and provide medication reminders. Maintain close relationships with clients to enhance their quality of life. This role requires a minimum of one year of caregiver experience, a current HHA certificate or CNA license, and BLS certification. Weekly pay ranges from $17 to $18 per hour with 4-12 hour shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year work experience
- Current HHA - Home Health Aide certificate (at least 40-hour course) OR CNA License OR 1-year of hands on experience working as a caregiver or Home Health Aide (HHA)
- BLS Certified CPR (must be American Red Cross, American Heart Association, HSI, or American Healthcare Academy)
- Level II Background Check
