Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation while preparing light meals and assisting with feeding as needed. Perform light housekeeping related to patient care and provide companionship and emotional support. Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse and complete timely, accurate documentation according to company guidelines. Deliver personalized, one-on-one care in patients' homes without facility assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Active Washington, DC Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work independently in patients' homes
Desired Qualifications
- Previous home care experience
