Job Summary
Home Health Aide (HHA) to support patients in their homes for Select Home Health & Hospice. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care (bathing, oral care, dressing), ambulation, positioning, turning, and following directions of nurses/therapists. Must be licensed/certified as HHA or CNA in Indiana, have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, reliable transportation, and be willing to travel to multiple patient homes (6–8 visits per day, up to 1 hour per visit). Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and adhere to equal opportunity employment principles.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal transportation
- Must be a certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Indiana
- One year of direct patient experience in a hospital, facility, or home setting
- Listed on the nurse aide registry with no finding against the aide relating to client abuse, neglect or misappropriation of client property
- Willingness to travel between patient homes, visiting 6–8 clients per day, with visits lasting up to 1 hour per client
