Job Summary
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility transfers. Provide medication reminders and support clients in managing their routines. Prepare meals adhering to dietary requirements while monitoring nutrition and hydration. Offer companionship through meaningful conversations and accompany clients to appointments and social activities. Observe and report changes in health status, documenting care provided and notable observations. Early morning shifts Monday to Friday. Florida background screening required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team
- Complete background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
