Job Summary
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility transfers. Provide medication reminders, prepare meals adhering to dietary requirements, and monitor nutrition and hydration. Engage clients in meaningful conversations, accompany them to appointments, and observe health changes to report to the care team. Document all care provided and notable observations. Work flexible early morning Monday through Friday shifts with consistent assignments. Complete background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse as required by state law.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team
