Job Summary
Follow care plans to provide safe and competent care, including assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility. Perform routine housekeeping tasks and monitor clients' conditions or home situations, reporting changes to the RN Case Manager and HHA Coordinator. Maintain a compassionate demeanor while ensuring safe use of client-based equipment. This 1099 Independent Contractor role offers flexible scheduling where you control your hours and days off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of state-mandated training hours, if applicable
- Basic knowledge of computer and internet-based applications for charting
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Compassionate and professional demeanor
- Safe working knowledge of client-based equipment
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Evidence of health status that does not pose a risk to clients or other caregivers
