Job Summary
Provide personal care support including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance. Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities while performing housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks. Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed, and offer companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life. Help clients with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments as applicable. Maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client. HHA certification from the State of New York is required, with a high school diploma or GED preferred. Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- HHA certification from the State of New York
- High School Diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
- Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds)
