Job Summary
Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance. Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities while preparing meals and performing housekeeping tasks. Offer companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life, and help with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments. Maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client. HHA certification from the State of New York is required, with a high school diploma or GED preferred. Experience caring for the elderly or disabled is preferred. Candidates must possess reliable transportation, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong communication skills.
