Job Summary
Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance. Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities, while preparing meals and performing housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks. Offer companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life, and help with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments. Maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client. HHA certification is required from the State of New York, with a high school diploma or GED preferred. Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals is preferred. Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality with strong communication skills are essential.
