Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to residents in an Assisted Living facility as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA). Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting), mobility/transfers, medication reminders as directed, meal preparation and feeding support, light housekeeping and laundry, companionship, facilitating social and recreational activities, monitoring well-being and reporting changes, maintaining a safe environment, documenting care, and adhering to care plans and facility policies. Requires compassionate, respectful care, strong communication and teamwork, ability to work independently, and flexible schedule with weekend availability. Certification as PCA or HHA is preferred; prior experience in healthcare settings is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid PCA or HHA certification preferred (in accordance with state requirements)
- Previous experience in assisted living, home care, or healthcare preferred
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing resident needs
