Job Summary
Provide in-home personal care and support to clients in the Albuquerque, NM area under the supervision of a Field Supervisor and Registered Nurse. Deliver ADL assistance (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, mobility, transfers, meal preparation), skin care and pressure injury prevention, support cognitively impaired or behaviorally challenged clients per the Plan of Care, observe and report changes to the supervising nurse, maintain infection control and HIPAA compliance, and uphold patient rights and safety. Maintain a clean, safe home environment, participate in required training and competency evaluations, and follow Plan of Care instructions. Requires HS diploma or equivalent and completion of an authorized Home Health Aide program, valid driver’s license, English communication skills, and CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program or CMS-equivalent competency
- Ability to pass background check, abuse registry check, and drug screening
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
