Job Summary
Provide one-to-one in-home care as a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) with duties including ADL support (transfers, bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility), infection-control tasks (linen changes, light laundry, sanitized spaces), medication and symptom monitoring, and therapeutic engagement (reading aloud, reminiscence, ROM guidance). Maintain accurate documentation in the digital charting system, follow detailed plans of care, and contribute to client well-being through reliable, schedule-flexible shifts (days, evenings, or overnights). Requires completion of state-approved HHA program and CPR/certification with at least 1 year of relevant experience; must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to client homes. Compensation includes above-market pay, PTO, mileage reimbursement, and benefits; employment is part-time with opportunities for advancement within a nurse-mentored clinical track.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide program (HHA certificate)
- Minimum 1 year of paid home-health or hospice experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach clients’ homes
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Clear, confident communication and a passion for relationship-centered care
