Job Summary
Provide quality in-home personal care by assisting clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily routines. Support mobility and meal preparation while encouraging a safe, comfortable environment. Report changes in health or behavior to the supervising nurse and complete documentation promptly and accurately. Respect each client's dignity, privacy, and independence. This role does not include medication administration or skilled nursing procedures; services are provided according to the client's care plan and under RN supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Compassionate and dependable attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to assist with personal care and mobility
- Able to follow care plans and agency policies
- Meets all state and agency requirements
Desired Qualifications
- HHA certification preferred
- CNA certification accepted where applicable
