Job Summary
Provide personal care and assist residents with activities of daily living, including routine housekeeping, meal planning, pet care, and escorting them to appointments. Execute standard infection control practices and notify office staff promptly of any changes in a resident's condition. Maintain competency in required job skills while promoting psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationships. Work 20-30 hours weekly with one full weekend rotation per month, earning up to $19.00/hour. This role supports Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living, a 130-acre continuing care community in Pompton Plains, NJ, serving 27,000 residents across the nation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Certified as a Home Health Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant, Geriatric Nursing Assistant, or as per State and Federal law and regulations
- Must work 1 full weekend a month
- Must work 20-30 hours during the week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a care provider serving the senior population is preferred
