Job Summary
Home Health Aide CNA providing in-home patient care for AdventHealth in Volusia and Flagler Counties. Responsibilities include ensuring patient comfort and safety during care activities, monitoring and reporting patient progress to health professionals, and assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, personal care) as well as instrumental activities of daily living (meal preparation, grocery shopping, housework, laundry, telephone use). The role includes orientation and training for newly hired staff and maintaining accurate patient records while adhering to care protocols. Requires proficiency in English, reliable transportation, ability to read/write English, basic computer skills, and knowledge of regulatory requirements. Valid BLS CPR is required; ACLS PALS are preferred. Licenses/Certifications listed include Home Health Aide or CNA; Driver's License and Auto Insurance required. Education additionally notes a minimum of 75 hours of HHA training with 16 hours supervised by an RN, and 1+ year of nursing assistant experience in an institutional setting. Pay range noted as $15.87–$25.38 per hour, converted to an annualized salary range of approximately $33,010 to $52,790.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Certification Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) Preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS) Preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalency Required
- Completion of minimum 75 hours of documented Home Health Aide training with at least 16 hours of supervised practical training by an RN
- 1+ employment experience as a nurse's aide in an institutional setting Required
- Home Care experience Preferred
- Driver's License Required
- Auto Insurance Required
- Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Required
