Job Summary
Provide personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation according to the care plan. Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support to clients in their homes. Assist with light housekeeping related to client care including tidying, laundry, and meal preparation as directed by the care plan. Maintain a safe, clean environment and use appropriate infection control and PPE procedures. Communicate any changes in client condition to the office or supervising nurse. Work live-in or hourly cases in Paterson, NJ, and surrounding Bergen and Passaic Counties.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Jersey CHHA or CNA license in good standing
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience (facility or home care)
- Current PPD test (within the last 12 months) and MMR vaccination record
- Ability to read and follow a care plan and complete ADLs safely and professionally
