Job Summary
Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, mobility, transfers, toileting, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support while keeping clients' homes safe, clean, and comfortable. Observe changes in a client's condition and report them to the supervising nurse, then complete visit notes and documentation accurately. Follow safety procedures and maintain client confidentiality. This role focuses on personal care and support under RN supervision; aides do not perform skilled nursing tasks such as medication administration or wound care. We are seeking compassionate, dependable individuals with strong communication skills to help others live safely and comfortably at home.
Required Qualifications
- Meets all agency and state employment requirements.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- HHA certification preferred (CNA welcome where applicable).
- Reliable, caring, and patient.
- Able to work independently while following a care plan.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically able to assist clients with daily activities.
